ACEC/New York raised more than $64,000 to reach its 2014 ACEC/PAC fundraising goal. That total marks the highest amount ever raised by a Member Organization in ACEC/PAC history, and ACEC/NY is still actively soliciting funds.

New York joins Indiana, South Carolina, Delaware, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Nevada, Kentucky, Connecticut, Washington, North Dakota, Alaska, Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas, Arizona, Maryland, Metro Washington, Arkansas and Utah in achieving their 2014 fundraising goals.

PAC Champion Charlie Gozdziewski of Hardesty & Hanover credited consistent peer-to-peer effort as the key to the state’s success. “All of our board members contribute to ACEC/PAC, with many of them participating in the Millennium and Chairman’s clubs,” he said. “They encourage their peers in other firms to contribute, and enlist their firm colleagues as well.”

“They understand that continued support of the ACEC advocacy program means opportunities for their firm and future,” added Vice PAC Champion Tom Cascino of AECOM.

For those looking to contribute to ACEC/PAC, the Last Chance Sweepstakes is now open, with chances to win one of three cash prizes. Click here to go to the ACEC/PAC website and log in with your ACEC credentials for details.
