ACEC strongly opposes the draft legislation, which would limit the use of cash accounting to firms with revenues of less than $10 million and to sole proprietors.
A bipartisan letter opposing the cash accounting changes is being sponsored by Senators Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Pat Roberts (R-KS), Angus King (I-ME), and Ron Johnson (R-WI). ACEC member action is needed by July 31st to urge Senators to sign this letter.
