ACEC/Connecticut became the ninth state to reach its 2014 PAC fundraising goal this week, joining Indiana, South Carolina, Delaware, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Nevada and Kentucky. The M.O. has hit its target for nine consecutive years.
“Staying committed as a group to the fundraising goal was essential to achieving success this year,” said PAC Champion George Jacobs.
Connecticut’s success is timely as nine states will hold congressional primaries between now and mid-September—and the mid-term elections are just over the horizon. These contests are more expensive than ever and pro-business candidates are in need of financial resources.
ACEC/PAC will again have a strong presence at the upcoming ACEC Fall Conference in Waikoloa, Hawaii—its annual golf tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, and Wake Up with ACEC/PAC is scheduled for Thursday, October 23. For more information, visit the events page on the Fall Conference website.
