ACEC/Alaska has met its ACEC/PAC fundraising goal for the eleventh year in a row, joining Indiana, South Carolina, Delaware, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Nevada, Kentucky, Connecticut, Washington state and North Dakota.
PAC Champion Floyd Damron of CH2M HILL credited the state’s success to peer-to-peer outreach and awareness of the political process: “In an election year, you don’t have to look far to see the political process in action and there is too much at stake for the business of engineering not to be involved.”
ACEC/PAC will be active at the upcoming ACEC Fall Conference in Waikoloa, Hawaii. The Annual ACEC/PAC Golf Tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21 and Wake Up with ACEC/PAC, a special thank-you event for major donors, is scheduled for Thursday, October 23.
